Kearny Digital Media and Design is one of four small autonomous schools in the Kearny High Educational Complex. Kearny
DMD’s mission is to prepare students for college and career by
developing exemplary communication skills through authentic media-based
experiences in an environment
of high academic and social expectations. We demonstrate a personal
commitment to the academic success and general well-being of all
students, and provide ongoing academic and social support for all
students. DMD’s CTE Multimedia Production Pathway engages
and motivates students as they are supported to master grade-level
standards in the academic content areas. DMD students enter their
post-secondary experience having developed proficiency in critical
thinking, innovation, the production process, civic engagement,
and college/career preparation.
